Legendary rapper Big Daddy Kane recently expressed his disinterest in the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, blaming the fanbases for making it “unenjoyable.”
In an interview with The Art of Dialogue, Kane shared his thoughts on the battle of the tracks between the two hip-hop giants.
Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been exchanging diss tracks since Lamar’s verse on “Like That” dropped in March. However, for Big Daddy Kane, the fan reactions have dampened his enthusiasm for the rivalry.
“I was trying to keep up with the Kendrick and Drake thing but I kinda lost interest,” Kane admitted. “It just wasn’t exciting to me — not because of them two, but because of the fanbase. The fanbase just made it to where, I’m good.”
